The Aims & Objective of the society shall be as under:-

To provide a forum for establishing a link between the alumni, academic staff and students of the institute.

To organize programs, conferences and seminars in the field of engineering and technology.

To maintain and manage the branches of the Society within India and abroad as may be considered desirable by the Society.

To engage in social activities as shall contribute towards maintaining a link between the alumni, academic staff and students of the institute.

To collaborate with other Societies and bodies which are concerned with the promotion of engineering education and research in India and abroad.

To help in the placement of ECB graduates.

To assist the Institute in the academic enrichment of the faculty and its fund raising programs.

To institute and award fellowships, prizes and medals to the undergraduate and, postgraduate students of the Institute.

To confer honorary awards and distinctions.

None of the above objective is for any material or aim of profit motive. It is only charitable.
