Transducer Lab

Where the direct measurement is impossible, difficult to handle the parameters or in hazardous conditions we have to use the transducers. Which transforms one form of energy into another form. This lab mainly consisting of the following equipments and demonstrate how the physical, chemical, mechanical parameters are converted in appropriate measureable parameters such as electrical or mechanical.

Analytical instrumentation Lab

Where the analysis of the any substance is done on the absorption, emission of energy in the substance is done by this instruments. The students are studying how the instrument works and how it can be maintained. All the pathological laboratories are using the same type of instruments. The lab is consisting of following instruments.

Computer Control Lab

In today's era the art of technology of Process control is either done by Direct Digital Control (DAQ cards) or through the Programmable Logic Control(PLC), Distributed Control System (DCS)with different levels of operations and control such as operator, supervisor, engineering station and management information systems are achieved using computer network with SCADA software.

This is the main laboratory in which the process parameters are measured, signal conditioned, transmitted and controlled by PID controller. Various converters and associated instrument are available in this lab so that students can perform the practical to handle pressure, level, flow and temperature control loops in various configurations.
